Paper Jams

1. Grasp and pull out any paper that has become stuck while feeding into the output tray. If the paper will not come out with a reasonable amount of force, leave it for removal later.
2. Press the release button on the top left of the printer. Lift the top cover up and remove each of the four print cartridges.
3. Place each toner cartridge on a sheet of paper to prevent stains or damage to the cartridges. Place a second piece of paper over the cartridges so they are not exposed to light.
4. Pull out any stuck pieces of paper. Pull forward on the release lever on the fuser if any sheets of paper are stuck inside.
5. Reinstall the print cartridges and lower the cover, but do not press it down so it latches into place. Open the printer's rear door and pull out any stuck pieces of paper, then close the door.
6. Press the button next to the printer's front door to open it. Open the input paper drawer and check both areas for stuck paper, then close the drawer as well as the top cover and front door.
